I like this picture. It reminds me of rainy days in Kilarney. A nice cottage house, with white picket fences and a beautiful gnome-like garden, with a heart-shaped arch where you could sit and enjoy the afternoon breeze, whilst swinging beneath it. (more…)

Alhamdulilah, Alhamdulilah, Alhamdulilah.

It has been two years since I ‘became a Muslimah’, two years since I said Sayonara Jahiliyah, two years since I packed my bags and move out of ‘neraka di atas dunia‘, two years since I found my purpose of living.

Alhamdulilah. Masya-Allah , has it been that long since I first started?

A story of Imam Ghazali from the book ‘Zero to Hero’

Imam Al Ghazali adalah orang yang gemar mencatat ilmu-ilmu yang didapatkan hingga suatu saat dia berjalan membawa hasil ilmunya dan dirampok bawaanya. Perampok merebut bawaannya berupa catatan-catatan ilmu.

Imam Al Ghazali berkeras merebutnya, tapi dia malah dicemooh, masa mengendalkan ilmu hanya pada catatan bukan dari hafalan di hati
